OPPOSITE PICKS: 106-84-1 ATS
JAMES MADISON -2.5 vs. Drexel This has to be a typo right? They meant 12.5, not 2.5 right? James Madison is in FIRST place in the Colonial at 13-5 overall…8-1 in conference play. James Madison has won 7 in a row and 10 of 11. James Madison is the home team. Drexel is just 8-7 overall….3-5 in conference play. And James Madison is only a 2.5pt favorite? LOVE James Madison. OPPOSITE PICK: DREXEL +2.5
GA SOUTHERN -2 vs. Appal St. Both clubs stink. But App St. stinks a little more…especially now as APPST has lost 5 in a row. They also beat Georgia Southern TWICE this year. This is the first of back to back games against GS. No way does this mediocre team be able to beat the Eagles 3 straight times. OPPOSITE PICK: APPALACHIAN ST. +2
RICHMOND +4.5 @ St. Louis I was originally going to go with the Billikens of St. Louis. Then I did some research and you know what? This Spiders team isn’t bad. They’ve won 6 of their last 8 overall. They are also 6-2 on the road this year with nice wins @ Kentucky, Vandy & Davidson. St. Louis meanwhile has lost 2 in a row and is just 5-5 it’s last 10 games. They are a mediocre team that should NOT be laying 4.5 to Richmond. LOVE the Spiders to win outright. OPPOSITE PICK: ST. LOUIS -4.5
PURDUE -1 @ Penn St. Huge game for the Boilermakers who at 15-8 can nil afford a loss to lousy Penn St. if they want to get an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. Purdue is 10-6 in Big 10 play. Penn St. is only 5-11. They did win their last time out, but they’ve still lost 4 of 5 and they have one more home game left so you can’t even point to Senior day to provide a spark. Purdue beatem 80-72 earlier this season. LOVE Purdue. OPPOSITE PICK: PENN ST. +1
CAL ST-LONG BEACH +8 @ Hawaii If there was a team equipped to handle the sites & allure of Hawaii, it’s Cal St. LB. Ever been to Hawaii? My retirement destination. Most teams wilt under the surroundings. Not CSTLB. Ever been to Long Beach? Not exactly East St. Louis. They will be fine. Hawaii should not be laying 8pts to the 49ers. Hawaii has either lost or won by less than 8pts in all but 2 of their games this year. They are not covering 8pts in a game that really should be around pickem. OPPOSITE PICK: HAWAII -8
NBA…TORONTO -7 vs. Houston Don’t forget our favorite axiom of all time….Winners bet WITH streaks, while losers bet AGAINST streaks. The Houston Rockets are on a big 0-8 SU & 1-7 ATS streak. They stink. They lost the Cleveland…Cleveland…a team that had gone 1-12 it’s last 13 games and they not only lost, but lost by double digits to the Cadavers on Wednesday. Now they are suppose to hang with the Raptors who have turned their season around going 9-5 their last 14 games. LOVE, LOVE, Toronto laying only 7 against the pathetic Rockets. OPPOSITE PICK: HOUSTON +7
THURSDAY: 4-3 MICHIGAN -4.5 vs. Iowa OPPOSITE PICK: IOWA +4.5 = LOSE
HOUSTON -12 vs. Western Kent. OPPOSITE PICK: WESTERN KENTUCKY +12 = LOSE
UCLA Pk @ Utah OPPOSITE PICK: UTAH Pk = LOSE
DETROIT MERCY -10.5 vs. Robert Morris OPPOSITE PICK: ROBERT MORRIS +10.5 = WIN
OHIO ST. -4 @ Michigan St. OPPOSITE PICK: MICHIGAN ST. +4 = WIN
MINNESOTA -5 vs. Northwestern OPPOSITE PICK: NORTHWESTERN +5 = WIN
STANFORD -1 vs Oregon OPPOSITE PICK: OREGON +1 = WIN ****
